Fall Wedding at The Jewel Box St. Louis

A Full Wedding at the Jewel Box St. Louis

The Tauchers wedding in St. Louis was a beautiful blend of elegance, intimacy, and classic city charm. From a relaxed Airbnb morning in STL to romantic portraits in Forest Park and a stunning wedding at The Jewel Box St. Louis, every part of the day flowed seamlessly and felt deeply personal.

Getting Ready at an Airbnb in St. Louis, Missouri

The day began at a cozy Airbnb in St. Louis, where the Tauchers spent the morning getting ready. This laid-back setting created a calm atmosphere filled with laughter and quiet moments. An Airbnb also allowed everyone to slow down and truly enjoy the start of the wedding day without feeling rushed. Oyster shots in the morning, dresses hung by the window, the morning light finding its way in through the curtains. Instead of a hotel hallway full of strangers, it was just family and friends moving through a space that felt like home. So there was room to actually be present.Nothing scripted, nothing rushed. Just a morning that set the tone for everything the day would become.

The Iconic St. Louis Forest Park Portraits

Before the ceremony at the Jewel Box, the Tauchers headed to Forest Park for portraits. As one of St. Louis’s most iconic locations, Forest Park provided a timeless backdrop with lush greenery, scenic pathways, and elegant architecture. The natural light and open space made these photos feel romantic, effortless, and true to the couple’s style. Underneath the tree-lined paths, the late morning light filtered through in soft patches, catching them mid-laugh more often than not. There was no need to force a pose or manufacture a moment. Instead, we just walked, talked, and let the park do what it does best. A hand brushing against a shoulder. A quiet look shared before the ceremony even began. So the portraits ended up feeling less like a photoshoot and more like time spent together, before they said “I do” in front of their family and friends.

Forest Park wedding photos are always a favorite, and The Tauchers’ portraits perfectly captured their connection and excitement as they prepared to say “I do.”
